Full disclosure: REI does not participate in Black Friday, so don’t bother heading to their store or website until Saturday. Instead, they encourage their employees and customers to #OptOutside. Yeah, yeah, we all know Amazon is going to have a million and a half Black Friday through Cyber Monday deals. So get started with the shopping already. We suggest kicking it off right from the Outdoor Recreation page so you can skip the adds for children’s toys and curling irons and get straight to the good stuff.
