We’ve tested a LOT of backpacks, travel bags and camera bags here at Terradrift. Like, a lot. So it takes quite a bit to impress us these days. But when we got ahold of one of the new Peak Design Outdoor Bags and Outdoor Slings that just launched on Kickstarter this month, to say we were impressed might have been a bit of an understatement. Check out what we thought of them and whether we think you should back them.
First of all, let me just say that Peak Design is my favorite camera accessory manufacturer since Lowepro. And nobody is paying me to say that. Their Capture Pro clip basically changed my life and with the Peak Design Slide Lite camera strap I don’t have to choose between using the clip and using a strap (or my new favorite Clutch). Brilliant. Extra safety for when I’m scaling a rock wall with my camera attached to my person. True story. This actually happens. So here’s a review of this new strap and what I think of it as a professional photographer and frequent traveler.
Update: This review is for the original version of the Peak Design Capture Clip. And guess what? Our opinion of the new version hasn’t changed. It just looks way better. …
