REI Member Days Are Here! (And So is Gear Just for Members)

Sharing is caring!

REI Co-op Member Days have arrived! This season, expect exclusive gear and clothing just for members (and other gear exclusively available at REI), a few special deals, and a couple of those coveted 20% off coupons good on one outlet item and one regularly-priced item. If you’re a member and your annual dividends just hit your account and they’re burning a hole in your digital pocket, now’s a solid time to scoop up gear if you need it.

But remember, just because it’s on sale doesn’t mean you have to buy it. Consume responsibly, care for and repair your gear to make it last, and remember that using what you have and buying used are always more sustainable choices.

These specials are just for REI Co-op members. Not a member yet? It’s only $30 for a lifetime membership, you’ll get 10% back in member dividends on full price purchases, accessed to members-only gear and sales, have the ability to shop used gear and trade in used gear for cash, and so much more. Our opinion? Totally worth it. Learn more and become an REI Co-op member here.

20% off one used Re/Supply item

This is our favorite REI Member Days Sale for a few reasons. 1.) Used gear is always more sustainable than new gear. 2.) Used gear is more affordable than new gear. 3.) Sales on used gear are few and far between at REI, so this is a great chance to save big. Used gear from Re/Supply is now only available in stores (but members can still trade in their used gear online).

20% off one full-price item

Use code MEMBER26 to score 20% off a regularly priced (non-sale) item. This is great for those items that rarely, if ever, go on sale at REI.

20% off one online Outlet item

The REI Outlet is a great place to save some cash on gear that’s been discontinued, including last season’s styles. So if there was clothing or gear you had your eye on that’s been updated recently, you can save 20% on top of the reduced Outlet prices with code MEMBER26.

50% off brake and shifting adjustments or $50 off a bike tune package

Head to any REI with a bike shop and during Member Days you can save a ton on pre-season bike maintenance. This is an excellent deal for cyclists and mountain bikers who are raring to hit the trail this spring but have a drivetrain, brakes or components that could use a little love.

50% off REI Outlet Flash Deals

REI created an exclusive collection curated online just for members before a new collection drops on 3/18. So tune in during Member Days to see if it’s gear you need for your next trip.

$100 off selected Intrepid Travel trips

REI may have stopped offering their own trips, but they’ve partnered with Intrepid Travel to continue encouraging members to explore more. So instead of buying stuff, book a trip between March 13 – April 13, 2026 to save on trips between April 13 – December 15, 2026.

REI Co-op Wonderland Tents – 40% off

Looking for a cozy, comfy, roomy tent for camping? The new REI Wonderland 4 Tent has you covered. Mesh doors offer ample airflow, there’s plenty of room for an average-sized person to stand up, and it’s plenty roomy (although if you’re going to cram four people in you’re going to be close). It’s also available in a larger 6-person option. REI is Climate Label Certified. Mesh is also solution dyed.

REI Co-op Campwell Tents – 40% off

Another tent option for those looking to gear up on a budget is the REI Campwell Tent, available in a 4-person or 6-person. This one’s not as flashy or feature-rich as the Wonderland, but for those who only venture outdoors once or twice a year, want to bring along the whole family, and don’t have a few hundred dollars to drop on gear, this is a solid option. Especially at 40% off!

REI Mastercard

Members with the REI Co-op Mastercard can score even more value. Cardholders earn 5% back on all REI purchases, including sale items. That’s all year. But for a limited time, those who apply and are approved for the card between February 24 and March 9 receive $30 in card rewards, plus a $100 gift card after their first purchase outside REI, for a total value of $130! That’s a pretty solid deal! Just make sure you apply and use credit cards responsibly (i.e. pay it off in full every month) or the bonus won’t be worth it.

Bottom Line

During REI Member Days, actual sales and epic deals aren’t prolific, but between the coupons on regularly priced items, outlet gear, used Re/Supply stuff, epic savings on bike services and a few massive deals on large camping tents, members can save a bundle. It’s not a bad time to sign up for an REI Co-op Mastercard, either (as long as you use it responsibly). So shop sustainably this season, then get out there and wander on.
